There will probably come a time when you’re dating a girl and start to become torn as to whether you want to continue to see her as a casual date or have her become your girlfriend. You know you like being with her and always have a great time. Yet, you’re not sure if you’re ready to “take the plunge” and commit to just one girlfriend. Sound familiar?While it can be frustrating to decide which way to go, it is worth taking the time to make a smart decision. After all, you don’t want to lose a good thing or lose your opportunity to see what else is out there, right?

Also make sure to add asterisks next the points that are highly valuable to you.There are clear advantages and disadvantages to committing vs. being alone.When you’re alone, you have the freedom to do as you wish. You can date and have sex with as many women as you like. If you’re not getting along with one of them, you can choose to just not see them again. There’s a level of excitement to pursue whomever you wish. You’re free to go to strip clubs whenever you want. You don’t have to answer to anybody and you can kick girls out after sex. However, there are disadvantages to casually dating: it can get lonely without a mate, especially during the holiday season.
You don’t have that “special somebody” to just call and say “hi.” When you have events to go to for work or parties, you have to keep finding “dates” to accompany you. If you’re having a bad day, there’s not that “special someone” who can confide in. Plus, it’s fun going to bed with that special someone and waking up with them to laugh and giggle together.Now, let’s take a look at the advantages and disadvantages of committing.When you’re committed to someone, you no longer have the freedom to do as you wish as far as having sex with girls. It’s also great to have a guaranteed companion no matter where you go.
Plus, you’ll probably save money on dating since you won’t be seeing other people & hopefully split the cost of dinner and movies with your new girlfriend. Of course, the downside to committing is you now have to consider someone else beside yourself. And when you’re with just one person, the sex can become boring pretty fast. And then of course, there’s the fighting and disagreements, which can really suck.But most men overall are happier with a partner than without. In fact, there was once a study done about happiness. And believe it or not, it said that married men are generally happier than single men.I can tell you from past experience that this is true. When I’m with someone in a committed relationship, I’m generally a calmer person and more satisfied with life. Of course, not everyone is wired for relationships and prefer to just be a player for life, which is fine.Only you know for sure whether you’re better off casually dating or committing. The bottom line: are you better off with this girl in your life or without?
